ABOUT ME

From a young age, I was surrounded by creativity. Art, design, music, and hands-on projects were a constant part of my world. I remember visiting art museums, watching my mom paint, and often serving as her photography model while she completed her art degree. Many afternoons were spent in my grandma’s basement, experimenting with every instrument I could find and teaching myself to play them. My dad was always in bands, so if I wasn’t learning, I was watching rehearsals or live shows—completely immersed in music and the creative process.

At the same time, my parents were renovating our home themselves. I learned how to use tools, witnessed what it meant to take something apart and rebuild it, and developed a lasting fascination with architecture, design, and renovation.

By my pre-teen years, I got to watch my parents take two very different but equally inspiring paths—my mom launching her own advertising agency and my dad building a successful career in sales. That combination of creativity, entrepreneurship, and relationship-building shaped who I am today. It’s why I’ve always been drawn to understanding every part of a business and love being involved at every level—from vision to execution.

When I began my professional career, I was fortunate to start as a Creative Leader and eventually Partner and CEO at an advertising and marketing agency. Our focus was on helping manufacturing companies build strong brands and prepare to enter major retailers like Walmart, Lowe’s, and Home Depot.

I developed complete, end-to-end branding programs—everything from logos and visual identity to marketing collateral, packaging, and online presence. It was a hands-on experience that taught me how to shape a brand’s story from the ground up and position it for real-world success.

I eventually transitioned into the software world, starting out as a Product Designer. It didn’t take long for me to realize that my true passion was in product leadership—shaping the vision, strategy, and direction behind what we build. This shift allowed me to combine both sides of my background: the creative and the technical.

Through design, I developed a deep understanding of customer empathy and the importance of truly listening to users. That foundation continues to guide my approach to product today—taking complex, powerful systems and transforming them into clean, intuitive workflows and experiences that people actually enjoy using.

In my personal life, I have a wide range of interests and hobbies that keep me inspired and balanced. I love the outdoors—riding anything on two wheels, camping, hiking, and exploring new places. I even built my own toy hauler camper, affectionately named Frank the Tank. I also enjoy boating, kayaking, skiing and spending time surrounded by nature.

I’ve always had a deep appreciation for art, architecture, and design—both interior and exterior. Over the years, I’ve fully renovated homes and built structures from the ground up. There isn’t much in home construction that I can’t build or fabricate, and I especially enjoy woodworking projects that let me create something tangible and lasting.

Music is another lifelong passion. I play guitar, bass, drums, and sing, and I was originally trained in trumpet with formal studies in music theory. I’ve written music and played in bands since my teenage years.

From time to time, I also enjoy large-scale painting and creating what I call functional sculpture—pieces that blend art, design, and utility.

I’m also a proud father and incredibly close with my son. I’ve coached his travel baseball and wrestling teams, volunteered at countless school events, and made it a priority to be present for every moment. Those experiences are what I consider my true wealth—being there, fully involved, and watching him grow. Our relationship continues to strengthen every day, and so does the pride I feel in the person he’s becoming.

I hope you enjoyed learning a bit more about me and the talents that continue to inspire my work.
